Re-elect Jessica Bateman for Olympia City Council, Position 2.

Jessica is an incumbent council member who strongly supports the City of Olympia’s efforts to cut emissions that contribute to climate change. Her priorities are to reduce the city’s carbon footprint while adapting to sea level rise, increase capacity to address homelessness, provide affordable housing, and create a strong local economy and revitalized downtown. She supports returning Capitol Lake to its original form as an estuary. Thurston Environmental Voters endorses Batemans’ re-election for Olympia City Council because she is the best candidate to address housing and homelessness, maintain our public green spaces, and ensure we have safe and walkable neighborhoods for all Olympians to enjoy.
