Donations greatly appreciated!
Thurston Environmental Voters is feeling the surge in interest among activists in Thurston County and is working to channel that energy to support environmental champions in the 2017 elections. There are vitally important races this year, including two Port Commission seats, five seats on the Lacey City Council, four seats on the Olympia City Council, and the Mayor and three seats on the Tumwater City Council. After multiple setbacks last November, it’s crucial that supporters of strong, progressive environmental policies come out in force for this year’s elections.
We’re cordially inviting you to be part of the surge. How? Come to our annual gathering on May 31, hear from our endorsed candidates, learn how to volunteer for their campaigns, and make a contribution of any size. We can’t elect environmental champions without your help!
This year, more than ever, it’s important that we work together to elect (and re-elect) environmental champions. Too much is at stake. We simply can’t afford to sit idly by and watch people who don’t share our values win these races.
